Kalanjali - the cultural competitions for the community members, conducted in every alternate years was held at Ernakulam on 26th and 27th May 2012 at Seetharama Kalyana Mandapam, Ernakulam. The district level competitions held here was inaugurated by Superstar - the ultimate (Amritha TV) fame V. Krishnan of Parur. The inaugural meeting was presided by V. Krishnaswami, District President of Kerala Brahmana Sabha. Dr. V. Ramalingam delivered the Key Note address. P. Ananthasubramaniam (State General Secretary), N. R. Parameswaran (State Joint Secretary), T. K. Narayanaswami (Secretary, Gramajana Samooham) and J. Subramoni (President, KBS, Ernakulam City Unit) delivered felicitations. K. G. V. Pathy (State Treasurer), Mohandas S. (State Joint Secretary), K. Annalakshmi (District President, Vanitha Vibhagam), H. Vancheeswaran (District President, Yuvajana Vibhagam), Adv. A. K. Seshadri (President, Gramajana Samooham), R. Ananthanarayanan (Joint Convener, Kalanjali), Balu Narayanan (Joint Convener, Kalanjali & former State Joint Secretary) were also present on the occasion. M. Vanchiswaran, Convener of Kalanjali welcomed the audience and Ganesh Venkitachalam, District Secretary said the vote of thanks. The 2-day cultural competitions went on well and the winners will compete in the State level Kalanjali this year.
