School with a vision - Veda, Upanishad with CBSE syllabus education

The Kanchi Mahaswami Vidya Mandir, at Tambaram, Chennai is welcoming students who wish to learn Veda and Upanishads with their regular  school studies. Sri Kanchi Mahaswami Vidya Mandir is a school imparting education under CBSE syllabus, simultaniously teaching Veda and Upanishads to students who are accomodated in the campus. Presently out of the 350 students, the school is having 100 students as residents for whom the boarding/lodging is taken care by the school.

In the next academic year, the school is planning to accomodate 250 students as Hostelites. S. Prabhakar, CEO said that the school is also reaching out to children from poor families in South India, who are keen to learn Veda without missing out the CBSE education.
