Grihapravesam of Thripunithura Upasabha Building held on 2nd May

The Grihapravesam of the newly constructed building of Thripunithura Upasabha near Chakkamkulangara temple was held on Sunday, 2nd of May 2010. This building will accomodate office rooms and conference hall for the upasabha and its vanitha vibhagam with a shop room in the ground floor for the use of upasabha itself. A fully air conditioned auditorium in the 2nd floor with a capacity of 200-250 seats is the main attraction of this building. The roof top is equipped with a spacious dining area with wash and toilets. Aminities like lift and generator facility for 24 hours are provided here. The Administrative office of Kerala Brahmana Sabha, will occupy the 1st floor. Ganapathy Homam, Navagraha Homam and Vasthu Pooja were held in the morning and Bhagavathy Seva was conducted in the evening. Poojas were performed under the auspecious of V. Krishna Vadhyar of Madappally Samooham. The Executive Committee Members and their families participated in the Poojas. The Secretary of Upsabha, K. Venugopal said that the building complex will be officially inaugurated and opened to public in a grand function, which is to be held in a couple of weeks.
