Considering the outstanding contributions in spreading the message of Advaitha Siddhantha, services rendered to the Spiritual Movement and efforts taken in propagation of Sanskrit language, an award instituted by Kerala Brahmana Sabha in the name Dharmasreshta will be presented to Dr. M. Sambasivan. The award carries a cash prize of Rs.10001, a citation and a statuette.
Malliyoor Sankaran Namboothiri in 2006, M. H. Sasthrikal in 2007, K. V. Seshadrinatha Sasthrikal in 2008 and Prof. V. Vaidyalinga Sarma in 2009 were the personalities to receive the honour in previous years.
The Award will be presented by Gurusevadhoorina Padmasree Dr. V. R. Gourishankar (CEO & Administrator of Sri Sringeri Mutt) in the presence of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sankaracharya Sri Sri Bharathi Theertha Mahaswamikal on Sunday, the 16th of May 2010 at Jagadguru Satchihanada Sivabhinava Narasimha Bharathi Swami Sabha Mandapam at Sri Sringeri Mutt, Kalady. V. Ramalingam, State President of Kerala Brahmana Sabha will preside over the meeting which is scheduled at 6.00 p. m. All members are requested to attend this glorious function.
