On Childrens Day, 14th of November 2010, the Kerala Brahmana Sabha, Thripunithura Upasabha conducted competitions on various Games – Vipra Vismayam. More than 50 competitors participated in the Games held at Lions Club Indoor Court at Thripunithura. R. Hariharan, Vice President and K. Venugopal, Secretary of Upasabha inaugurated the Games at 10.00 a.m. Competitions were held in two categories – above and below 18 years – for Chess, Carroms, Shuttle Badminton and Pallamkuzhi. The Pallamkuzhi competition for women attracted many youngsters since it was all new to the generation.
