District Level Cultural Competitions held at Perumbavoor

Various competitions to encourage youngsters in the age group of 8 to 15 were held at Perumbavoor on Sunday, the 26th September 2010. Nearly 60 children from 11 Upasabhas in Ernakulam District participated in the competitions. Slokam Chanting, Manthra Chanting, Kolamidal Bhajana and Role Play were the items and the winner represented the Ernakulam District in State level competitions held at Palakkad on Saturday, the 2nd of October 2010. V. Krishnaswami (District President) appreciated the efforts of the Competition Co-ordination Team for the smooth conduct of the same. Balu Narayanan, Muralidas S., N. Hariharasubramania Iyer, A. Mahadevan, S. R. Parvathy Ammal and H. Vanchiswaran were among the Co-ordination Team. The following won the competitions.
