Narayaneeya Parayanam by Brahmasree Sundarkumar at Ernakulam

The Sankara Santhi Nilayam & Educational Trust, Kalady and Kerala Brahmana Sabha, Ernakulam City Unit in association with Gramajana Samooham, Ernakulam will organize Narayaneeya Parayanam at Gramajana Samooham Hall, Ernakulam from 24th February to 3rd March 2010. The 10 day programme is scheduled to begin at 6.30 p.m. and end by 8.30 p.m. everyday. Brahmasree Sundarkumar will give lectures on Narayaneeyam.

Narayaneeyam is a devotional hymn glorifying Lord Guruvayoorappan, composed by Melpathur Narayana Bhattatiri - a great scholar-devotee who lived in Kerala in the 16-17 centuries. It is a work consisting of 1036 slokas, divided into 100 dasakams, each dasakam consisting of approximately 10 slokas. It is a condensed version of Srimad Bhagavatham.

P. Veeraraghavan, Adv. A. K. Seshadri and R. Ramakrishnan, on behalf of the organising committee, invite all interested people to listen to the Narayanneya Parayanam and get the divine blessings.
