All the competitions were held under the strict supervision and guidance of professional Referees, Arbiters, and Umpires. Sometimes it was the same player representing a district for many competitions which created some confusion. This resulted in a common opinion that the number of competitions in which a player participates need to be restricted.

The quick and sharp tabulations made it possible to give away the prizes of respective events held on respective days. Each day’s eve witnessed grand prize distribution ceremonies in which eminent personalities from socio-cultural-business and politics were present. On 5th February, the Chief Guest was T. K. Ashraf, Chairman, Health Standing Committee of Corporation of Kochi. Raju Hormis, Assistant General Manager of Federal Bank graced the Chief Guest's chair on 6th. The prizes were distributed by the dignitaries and the sponsors who were present on the occasion. The players and the escorted officials from various districts attended the meeting with great enthusiasm. A gift hamper containing few spices from G.R.K. & Co. was waiting all as a token of love from V. Ramalingam, State President after the closing ceremony.

The two-day Vipra Vismayam, Kochi was held in four venues - Parade Ground, Coronation Club, YMCA and BWA Hall.
