Prof. S. D. Jayaraj (Retired HOD, Department of Mathematics, Sree Sankara College, Kalady) aged 72 passed away on Sunday, 6th march 2011. He was the first President of YMBA (Young Men Brahmin Association) of Perumbavoor. He was a social reformer and an active presence in the socio-cultural avenue of Perumbavoor. Wife: Sathyabhama.
