'Thai Velli' was celebrated in a grand manner at Sreerama Bhajana Mandapam, Perumbavoor on 22nd of January 2010. Lalitha Sahasrnama Archana, Thamboolam Samarpanam, Nivedhyam etc. were done under the auspices of Samooham Vadhyar, Nageswaran on the day. The celebrations were organised by Kerala Brahmana Sabha, Vanitha Vibhagam of Perumbavoor. Narayaneeyam Committee leaders Kamala Hariharan, Bhagavathy Harihara Krishnan, Balambal, Gomathy Ramaswamy, Janaki Muralikrishnan, Rajalakshmi Parthasarathi and Bhageerathi Ammal Rama Iyer led the 'Thai Velli' celebrations.
